UCLA Child and Adolescent Mood Disorders Program (CHAMP)
Provides evaluation for youth 7-17 years with bipolar and other mood disorders. Offers family therapy and medication management. Some individual and group therapies and parent support groups are available for those who qualify through CHAMP research clinic.

Max Gray CHAMP provides diagnostic evaluations, second opinion consultation, and short-term treatments (medication management and various forms of psychotherapy) for youth who have symptoms of significant and impairing mood disorders and their families. The Program’s focus is on pediatric bipolar disorder (extreme high and low moods) and major depression.

UCLA Center for the Assessment and Prevention of Prodromal States (CAPPS)
CAPPS specializes in identifying and treating adolescents and young adults (between the ages of 12 and 30) at high risk for developing psychotic disorders. Two-year program includes comprehensive assessments, parent and teen skills groups, referrals, and case management services.

UCLA ADULT CLINICS


UCLA Aftercare Research Program
Provides intensive, evidence-based outpatient treatment to individuals 18 to 45 who have had a recent first episode of psychosis (i.e., within 2 years of illness onset). Treatment includes individual case management, group therapy, intensive support in returning to work and/or school, and antipsychotic medication.

UCLA Thoughts Disorders Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) 
Provides intensive, evidence-based outpatient treatment, including case management, groups, brief individual or family treatment, and psychiatry for adults 18+ with schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and other thought disorders.

UCLA Adult Mood Disorders Clinic 
Treats adults with bipolar disorder, major depression, schizoaffective disorder, dysthymic disorder, and minor depression.

UCLA Anxiety Disorders Program
Treats adults with anxiety and related disorders. A team of psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers will help you understand what triggers your anxiety, the feelings and thoughts that sustain it and the coping behaviors you engage in to avoid it. Medication management available. ADP also runs clinical trials exploring novel interventions.

Kickstart
A diverse clinical team specially trained to educate the community, treat youth and assist families in preventing psychosis. Kickstart is a Prevention and Early Intervention program funded through San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency and the Mental Health Services Act. Provides evaluation for youth 7-17 years with bipolar and other mood disorders. Offers family therapy and medication management. Some individual and group therapies and parent support groups are available for those who qualify through CHAMP research clinic.
